Earlier today we learned that John Logan would be writing the 24th James Bond film, but apparently he's also writing Bond 25 as well, and the two films will tell a single story. Looks like we're in for one hell of a James Bond epic!
According to Deadline he's already started writing the scripts. This would be the first time one story has been played out over multiple films in the 007 franchise. I imagine the studios will end up shooting the films back-to-back.
I'm looking forward to seeing what story they end up telling, but if it's covering two films we know it's going to be big. It will be interesting to see a Bond film actually end with a cliffhanger. Logan is a very talented writer that has worked on a ton of great movies in his career such as Gladiator, The Aviator, The Last Samurai, Sweeny Todd, Rango, Hugo and the upcoming Noah.
There's no word on if Sam Mendes will return to direct, but I hope he does. Especially after hearing that he's made the best Bond movie so far.
What do you think about this James Bond news?
