Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory is a 13-episode OVA series set in the Universal Century timeline of the Gundam franchise, taking place three years after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam. The story follows rookie Federation pilot Kou Uraki, who is thrust into a high-stakes mission after Zeon remnants, led by charismatic ace pilot Anavel Gato, steal the powerful Gundam GP02A armed with a nuclear warhead.

As Kou pursues Gato across Earth and space in the Gundam GP01, the conflict escalates into a larger conspiracy involving the Federation's secret ambitions and Zeon's operation "Stardust," a plan to destabilize the Earth Federation.
