Over the years we've heard a lot about the possibility of a fourth Jurassic Park movie. Several writers have come and gone trying to come up with a decent story and script, but nothing has ever stuck. There's one currently in development right now, which is being pushed forward, and one day we will see a fourth Jurassic Park film happen.
Back in 2005 screenwriters William Monahan (The Departed) and John Sayles (Spiderwick Chronicles) teamed up to collaborate on a story for Jurassic Park 4 that involved dinosaur and DNA testing gone bad. The tests resulted in these crazy looking human-dino hybrids that would break free and and wreak havoc. The best part of these hybrids were that they were intelligent enough to shoot weapons and solve complicated problems.
The movie was never put into development, probably because of its ridiculousness. But before it was completely shut down ILM designer Carlos Huante created some interesting concept art for the movie idea that gives us a glimpse at what could have been.
This just doesn't seem to fit in with the Jurassic Park universe explored in the books. This would have made a better stand alone movie not attached to the Jurassic Park franchise. Check out the art below and let us know if you think this would have made a good Jurassic Park movie!
