Legendary Pictures has released a photo of Godzilla director Gareth Edwards on the set with the star of the original Godzilla movie, Akira Takarada. Takarada played the diver Hideto Ogata in the original movie. There's no info as to how big of a role he'll have in the remake, but it's really cool that he's going to be in it!
The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay of which comes from Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham.
I'm excited to see how this movie turns out! I was blown away by the Comic-Con tease, so if it turns out as badass as that, we're in for a real treat!
