Zero Dark Thirty star Jason Clarke has officially signed on to star in 20th Century Fox's Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which is set to be helmed by Let Me In director Matt Reeves.
THR goes on to reveal some new story details on the film saying that the sequel is set 15 years after the events of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. They also reveal that one part of the story will focus on a "group of human scientists who are struggling to survive alone in San Francisco." The other part of the story will center on "the struggle of intelligent ape Caesar to maintain dominance over his kingdom." Caesar will once again be played by Andy Serkis.
If you saw Zero Dark Thirty or Lawless then you know how good on an actor Clarke is. There's no word on who he'll exactly be playing in the film, but he's a great addition to the project.
