Actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away today while being hospitalized from a heart attack that he suffered in July. According to a the actors fiancee he died Monday morning in a Los Angeles hospital after nearly two months of treatment following the July 13th heart attack. He was 54 years old.
Duncan was an incredibly fun actor to see up on the big screen over the years. The 6-foot 5, 300 pound actor starred in several films that include The Green Mile, Armageddon, Pantet of the Apes, Kung Fu Panda, Daredevil, Sin City and several other projects. His role in The Green Mile landed him an Academy Award nomination. Before he got into acting in the 90's, he was a bodygaurd for celebrities that included Will Smith and Jamie Foxx in Los Angeles.
This is incredibly sad news, and it comes out of nowhere. He was truely a talented actor, and will be missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
