We've all been wondering what it's going to be like to see Ashton Kutcher play Steve Jobs. Well, here's our first look at him in the role, along with Josh Gad as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. In the clip Jobs is trying to convince Wozniak that he thinks people would be interested in buying a personal computer. My first impression of the clip reminds me of a made for TV movie.

I will be seeing the film tomorrow at Sundance, we'll let you know how good or bad it is after we see it. In the meantime, here's the clip!

The movie was directed by Joshua Michael Stern (Swing Vote) and also stars Ahna O’Reilly as Jobs’ girlfriend Chris-Ann Brennan; Lukas Haas as Apple employee DanielKottke; Dermot Mulroney as former Apple CEO Mike Markkula; and Matthew Modine as former Apple CEO John Sculley. It will be released in April of 2013. Here's the synopsis...

The film covers Jobs from his early years as an impressionable youth and wayward hippie, through his initial successes and infamous ousting, to his storybook return and ultimate triumphs as a man who set out to change the world and did just that.

jOBS chronicles the 30 most defining years of Steve Jobs’ life, as seen through his, colleagues’, and friends’ eyes. Dark, honest, and uncompromising, jOBS plunges into the depths of his character, creating an intense dialogue-driven story that is as much a sweeping epic as it is an immensely personal portrait of Steve Jobs’ life.

A rousing narrative of this business and tech icon, jOBS pulls no punches and does not speculate, telling only the candid and captivating account of the life of Steven Paul Jobs.
