Yahoo! Is Already Calling MAN OF STEEL A Disappointment

This is one of the most ridiculous things I've read online in a long time. For some crazy reason Yahoo! has Zack Snyder's Man of Steel listed as being one of the most most disappointing movies of 2012, and it isn't even getting released until 2013! Oh, and in case you were wondering, they haven't even seen the movie yet! It doesn't come out for about another seven months!

The article was written by a guy named Jonathan Crow, and it includes a breakdown and analysis of many 2012 film flops including John CarterBattleshipPrometheusTotal Recall, Dark Shadows and Red Dawn. And then just for the hell of it he throws in Man of Steel. What the hell is that all about? Makes me wonder if the guy even saw any of the movies on this list. Here's what he said about the film...

For the upcoming reboot, Man of Steel, director Zack Snyder took off Superman's red briefs. That's right, the 300 director changed the iconic uniform of the Last Son of Krypton, and he now looks as if he should be on a luge instead of fighting crime. What happened to tradition?

The guy obviously hasn't picked up a Superman comic in the last year either, because the iconic superhero hasn't worn those red briefs for about a year now.  I love how he just judges the whole film based on a costume, a costume that I, and several other Superman fans think is pretty cool. Sure there's also several other fans that don't like the suit, but it has yet to be seen if the movie is going to end up being a disappointment. I'm hoping the movie turns out to be the spectacular Superman film we all want it to be! With Christopher Nolan's brains and Zack Snyder's visual style behind the movie I think it's going to end up being a great film. It definitely has more going for it than against it.
